About the Helena, Montana SCORE Chapter
The Helena Chapter of SCORE is composed of local men and women dedicated to helping small business owners succeed. We come from a variety of backgrounds and we WILL be able to find someone to help you.

Everyone can benefit from an objective look at "business as usual" when running a business you don't always have the luxury of sitting back and analyzing how you might do something better.  SCORE can help.

If you're thinking of starting a new business, you don't always know where to get the information you need. You have a good idea but are not sure if it will work and you don't want to invest in something that will fail.  You've visited a bank and the banker asked for your business plan and you don't have one. SCORE can help with all of the above.

If you run a non-profit organization and want some help fine-tuning some aspect, SCORE can help.

Chapter officers are dedicated to the continued success of the the Helena Chapter. The Helena Chapter now has 11 counselors. Our chapter is comprised of experienced counselors in marketing, finance, administration, accounting, planning and business ownership among a multitude of other talents. Individually or in team counseling, these SCORE volunteers make themselves available to help achieve small business success.

Contact us to make an appointment for a face-to-face counseling session or to register for one of our seminars. The volunteer counselors of SCORE are ready and willing to help make a success out of every small business with which they work. Business counseling is free and you may return as many times as needed—the best business bargain available. We will connect you with a mentor who has successfully navigated the world of business.

If a counselor is not immediately available, leave a message and one of our counselors will contact you. Although the office is not continually staffed, we do answer every message.
